Anfield Road expansion: Liverpool begin first stage of plan for 60,000+ stadium

Anfield OnlineLiverpool FC have distributed around 5,000 leaflets to local residents in the Anfield area as they begin the first phase of a plan to increase the capacity at the stadium. The two-tier Anfield Road end stand was rebuilt and completed in 1998, following the switch to make Anfield an all-seater stadium in 1994.
